NINTH grade | FRESHMAN YEAR

Freshmen can expect to be scheduled into English 9, Science 9, World Geography, Spanish I and Health/PE.  Math classes are based on the level of math completed in 8th grade.  Many students will be taking Algebra I or Geometry.   Electives include Culinary I, Comprehensive Art, Animal Science, and Band.

Freshman Supply List

  • College ruled loose-leaf paper and binders

  • Pens, red and blue or black

  • Pencils with erasers and/or erasers

  • Holder for pens and pencils that fits into 3-ring binder

  • Daily planner for assignments

  • Graph paper

  • 6 - 12 inch ruler

  • White out

  • One memory stick / flash drive

  • Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 - TI30 Scientific Calculator, spare batteries, and a folder to store notes

  • Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus - TI83 or TI84 calculator, batteries, and a folder to store notes

  • HS English - 2 separate single subject notebooks to be left in the classroom and 1 multi-pack of highlighters (blue, yellow, pink, green)

  • HS Spanish - Sketchbook, colored pencils, folder to store notes


TENTH grade | SOPHOMORE YEAR

Sophomores will take English 10 and Biology and an appropriate math course. Course schedules may also include: Media/Drama, Art, Graphic Art/Photography, Integrated Math, Health/Physical Education, Weight Training, Biology, U.S. or World History, Civics/Economics, Computer Applications, Industrial Arts, Culinary Arts I or II, Photojournalism, Spanish I or II, Band, Animal Science, Introduction to Agriculture and Creative Writing/Poetry. Sophomores may also be eligible for concurrent enrollment classes with administrative approval.
